Before you take your practical test you must have sucessfully passed the theory test.
The theory test is in two parts, done entirely on computer at a number of separate theory test centres.
In part one you have to answer 50 multiple choice questions in 57 minutes and get 43 correct.
Part two involves 14 clips on screen and you have to identifying the hazards presented by clicking on a mouse. You need to score 44 out of 75 to pass.
To be successful you need to pass both parts. When passing you will be given your result
printout which contains a theory test certificate number. Keep this somewhere safe as you will need this information to book your practical test when you are ready!
